Support to EO cluster internationalisation: European Commission's call for proposals now published!
The European Commission has just published its Call for proposals on cluster internationalisation – "Clusters Go International".
The objective of this action is to support cluster and business network collaborations across Europe, through the establishment of European Strategic Cluster Partnerships, in order to promote their internationalisation in third-country markets.
The Call consists of three different "strands", one of them (Strand 1.b) being reserved for clusters and business networks in the downstream Earth Observation sector.
It will offer the possibility to receive project funding to set up a joint internationalisation strategy under the first phase of the action (duration 12 to 24 months).
Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to subsequently apply for a second phase focused on the implementation of their internationalisation joint strategy. Participation in the second phase will be subject to application in forthcoming calls for "Clusters Go International" activities.
The European Commission expects to fund two proposals for strand 1.b, with a maximum contribution of EUR 200,000 per project.
Proposal must be submitted on 23 May 2017 17:00:00 (Brussels time) at the latest.
